Why people look for a Life360 alternative
Life360 is built around a live map. Once you join a Circle, your location is shared with everyone in it all the time, along with a history of where you've been. For many families that's exactly what they want.
For others it's too much. Teenagers and adult children often feel watched. Friends and partners don't want a permanent record of their movements. And some people are uneasy about how much location data a tracking app collects and who else it reaches.
How ImSafe is different
ImSafe starts from the other end: nothing is shared until there's a reason. You check in to tell your group you're OK, with or without your location. If someone wants to know where you are, they ask, you're told who asked, and a countdown gives you time to answer. Tap I'm Safe and no location is sent. Tap I'm Here to share it straight away. If the countdown runs out, your location is shared, so the people who care about you are never left without an answer.
In an emergency, the SOS button alerts your group and shows them where you are right away.
What ImSafe doesn't do
ImSafe is not a live tracker. It has no always-on map, no location history, no driving reports, no crash detection and no alerts when someone arrives at or leaves a place. If you need those, Life360 is the better fit.
ImSafe alerts the people in your group, not the emergency services.
