1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ImSafe, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. What ImSafe Is

ImSafe is a group location-sharing and safety app. Create or join a group with anyone you want to stay connected with — family, roommates, friends, or any other group you choose — and every member has the same tools: check in, check each other's location, and send or receive SOS alerts.

3. Not an Emergency Service

ImSafe is not a substitute for emergency services. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services directly. We cannot guarantee that alerts, messages, or location updates will be delivered instantly or at all — network issues, device settings, or connectivity can delay or prevent delivery.

4. Accounts & Groups

You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the accuracy of the information you provide. Groups are intended for people who know and trust each other — family, roommates, friends, or any other group you choose. You must be at least 13 years old to create or own a group; there's no minimum age to join a group someone else has created, though we recommend parental involvement for younger members. Whoever creates a group is responsible for who they invite into it.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use ImSafe to track or monitor anyone outside your own group, or without the legal right to do so.
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the app.
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.

6. Disclaimers

ImSafe is provided "as is." Location accuracy depends on device hardware, signal conditions, and permissions granted on each device, and may not always be exact or current.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ImSafe and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including delayed or failed delivery of alerts or location data.

8. Termination

You may stop using ImSafe and delete your account at any time from Account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app before they take effect.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
